MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. — A vehicle crashed Sunday into a gas pump at a station in McKees Rocks, causing it to catch fire.
The incident occurred at the Citgo gas station on Island Avenue near the McKees Rocks Bridge.%
"I heard this 'bam,' a big crash. I seen fire, the thing fell on my car," Anthony Johnson, who was buying lottery tickets at the time, said.

Several witnesses told Channel 11 News that the driver of a Jeep came across the bridge at a high rate of speed, repeatedly beeping the horn before jumping the medians and crashing into the gas pump, which caught fire.
Channel 11 News was told that the driver ran from the scene, but eventually turned himself into police and was taken into custody.
No one was injured.
Gas pumps at the Citgo remained out of operation Monday, but the convenience store was open.
