A cyclist was seriously hurt during Stage 6 of the Tour of Utah race.
Irish cyclist Matt Brammeier was trying to catch up to the lead riders when he approached the hairpin turn at Guardsman Pass in Big Cottonwood Canyon too quickly.

Brammeier slammed into another cyclist’s support vehicle.
As other support vehicles and racers tried to help, two cyclists crashed into a motorcycle.
Brammeier was hospitalized with broken ribs, sacral and pelvic bones.

Doctors expect him to make a full recovery.
