ASWAUBENON, Wis. — Dashcam video captured a semitruck as it slammed into a police cruiser Monday. The incident happened in the village of Aswaubenon just outside Green Bay.
The police cruiser was waiting at an intersection for the light to turn green. When it did, the officer ventured into the intersection and into the path of a truck that failed to stop for a red light.

The officer was initially trapped in the vehicle but was able to get free, uninjured.
The two collided, sending the patrol car into the median.
The semitruck driver was cited for operating too fast for conditions.
