Tahar Ben, the owner of Cash Flow, said he recognized the man when he came into his store Wednesday morning.

"The guy comes in and takes my best camera," Ben said.

Ben said the man is a frequent customer who began asking him about Ben's personal camera, which was not for sale and worth $7,000. Ben said he showed the man the camera and that's when he was caught on surveillance tape walking out of the store with it.

Wilkinsburg police said when they saw the video, they almost immediately recognized him.
