Malkin out of lineup vs. Blue Jackets

Evgeni Malkin will miss the Penguins’ game Thursday night at PPG Paints Arena against the Blue Jackets with an illness, Mike Sullivan confirmed during his pregame media availability.

Malkin’s illness is the reason for Joseph Blandisi’s emergency recall from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this morning.
