Aaron Rodgers gives brutally honest take on playing preseason games

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers revealed after Tuesday’s practice that no firm decision has been made about whether he’ll play on Thursday night, and doesn’t seem to have a strong opinion one way or the other.

“It’s preseason. It’s not real football. If I play, great. If I don’t great,” Rodgers said. “Preseason’s a lot different. Teams don’t run anything anymore, they just really don’t. It’s good to see guys with pads on, under the lights, how they react to the nerves. But it’s not real, regular-season football.”
