Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin says he has ‘minimal’ COVID-19 symptoms

PITTSBURGH — Head coach Mike Tomlin will spend some time away from the team’s facility as he recovers from COVID-19.

Tomlin confirmed in a statement on Twitter that he as minimal symptoms of the coronavirus and is still in good health.

Tomlin said he will be “back in the office soon” and will continue to work virtually from home while he recovers from the virus.

Channel 11 contacted a team spokesman, who would not confirm his case, just that some of the coaching and personnel staff were sent home last week after a “couple positives came up.”
