PITTSBURGH — The newest members of the Pittsburgh Steelers spent the day Monday at Children's Hospital meeting with some of their youngest fans.
They visited with patients and their families; playing games and creating crafts in the Eat 'n Park Atrium.
Players also signed autographs and posed for pictures.
The most familiar face among the Steelers was rookie running back James Conner, the former University of Pittsburgh star who knows what it's like to spend time in a hospital.

Conner is a cancer survivor. He battled Hodgkin's lymphoma during his junior year at Pitt.
Meeting with the Steelers allows the children a break from the stress of their cancer fight. One of them was all smiles as he danced with rookie wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.
As part of the visit, the Steelers organization donated fidget-spinners with the team's logo to pass out to patients.
