PITTSBURGH — A rating fit for a Yinzer: the Pittsburgh Penguins have the most passionate fans in the entire National Hockey League.
That’s according to a forbes.comarticle about America’s post passionate sports fans, which also found that Pens fans are the 9th most passionate overall in pro sports - the only NHL team to rank in the top ten.
“Our fans are the greatest,” said David Morehouse, president and CEO of the Penguins. “We are so grateful for their support, and it’s never a surprise to us when they’re named the most passionate fans in the NHL. Because they are. We hope everyone is staying safe during this challenging time.”
