PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Riveters SC has been named the 2026 Central Conference Organization of the Year by the USL W League today.
The recognition comes during the club’s second year of operation following achievements both on and off the field.
During the season, the Riveters captured a second consecutive Great Forest Division title and advanced to the Central Conference Final for the first time.
The team posted an undefeated nine-0-one regular season record with a +24 goal difference over its 10-match schedule, improving from a six-one-three record and a +15 goal difference in 2025.
Off the field, the club averaged more than 4,200 fans per home game at F.N.B. Stadium.
In the community, the club launched the Riveters Job Shadowing program during the season. The program gave high school and college-age young women an opportunity to gain firsthand experience in sports careers.
Individual players were also recognized at the end of the season, with Lola Abraham and Piper Coffield named Central Conference Standouts.
The Riveters have begun preparations for their third season on the field in 2027.
The USL W League honored four clubs total across the country, with Salmon Bay FC selected in the Western Conference, Eagle FC in the Eastern Conference and Asheville City SC in the Southern Conference.
