LATROBE, Pa. — Steelers’ rookie running back James Conner left practice during training camp Sunday because of a shoulder injury, according to head coach Mike Tomlin.

Conner, the Erie native and former Pitt star, was taking first-team reps while running back Le’Veon Bell holds out of training camp.
Conner recently passed Tom Brady as the league’s best-selling jersey.
Coach Tomlin did not give any more details as to the severity of Conner’s injury.
