PITTSBURGH — Lows will fall into the 20s overnight into Saturday as clouds give way to clear skies overnight. It will set the stage for a pleasant weekend.
Spring starts with a leftover winter chill but milder weather will be in place by the end of the day. Morning lows in the 20s will rebound nearly 30 degrees by the afternoon. A stretch of Springlike weather will stay with us through next week with sun filled days and highs in the 60s. It will be perfect for a hike on the trails, a bike ride or a walk around the neighborhood.

Baseball and soccer fields will also get a chance to dry out. This will be a good weekend to do some lawn cleanup, picking up branches and leftover leaves from the fall. It’s still too early to do any planting, however.
Ground temperatures are hovering in the mid 40s and we will likely see frost again before summer arrives.
