The weather will be dry and cool for your little ones to head for any Halloween festivities Sunday night.

Dry weather will start the week, but cool temperatures will have you grabbing the jacket or hat as you head out. Winds will pick up at times through the day making it feel even cooler.

You’ll enjoy mainly sunny skies through the day but clouds will thicken up by evening as another quick system moves in. Tuesday will start with a few spotty rain showers, but most of the day will be dry. It will be cold enough for some areas to see the first wet snowflakes of the season Tuesday morning, especially along the ridges of Westmoreland and Fayette County. Temperatures in those areas will start out in the low to mid 30s.

Warmer ground temperatures should melt any snow that falls.
