Hot weather sticks around Wednesday, with more showers and storms popping up from time to time.
A few scattered showers and storms could fire up after lunch, bringing some much needed rain to the area and a brief respite from the heat. Gusty winds could come with any storm that develops, but widespread severe weather is not expected.
