PITTSBURGH — Plenty of sunshine is expected today; highs will be in the upper 60s and low 70s. Clouds will increase this evening with more expected Saturday ahead of wet weather we will see from Isaias by Sunday.
Hurricane Isaias is expected to make landfall later tonight along the Gulf Coast likely somewhere between eastern Alabama and the western panhandle of Florida and then continue to weaken after it tracks inland.
The remnants from Isaias will bring rain to the area starting late Saturday night into Sunday. Rain could be steady at times with gusty winds on Sunday.
Outdoor plans will be impacted on Sunday. Rainfall could be between 1″-1.5″ with some locally higher amounts possible. Isolated thunder is also possible with sustained winds 10-15 mph with gusts 20-25 mph. Make sure to clean leaves and debris from drains that could cause flooding issues.
