PITTSBURGH — The forecast is looking better for outdoor plans Thanksgiving Day.

Steady rain will end before sunrise, with a few lingering showers possible off and on through the afternoon.

Temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 50s, so it won’t be too uncomfortable for a walk around the block or an outdoor lunch or dinner. It will be breezy at times though with gusts to 20 mph possible.

Black Friday shoppers will also enjoy milder temperatures and some sunshine, as highs make it back into the mid 50s.
