Above average temperatures expected Monday

PITTSBURGH — Clouds will thin out briefly during the evening and overnight before moving back in by Monday morning.

Grab your coat and your umbrella before you head out the door Monday morning. It will be cold with temperatures in the mid-30s but the afternoon will bring above-average temperatures near 50 degrees. We’ll also have a slight chance for a shower in the afternoon. The steadiest rain looks to move in Monday night.

Colder and gusty conditions will return to the forecast Wednesday as a cold front moves through. Showers will mix with snow showers by Wednesday evening as temperatures tumble.

Rain will be around Tuesday morning before tapering to scattered showers. Highs on Tuesday will also be in the low 50s.
