String of dry days coming to an end

PITTSBURGH — Dust off the umbrella. Our string of dry days will come to an end Thursday as rain showers move arrive in western Pennsylvania late in the day.

Clouds will increase early Thursday, ahead of another quick moving system that will bring showers for the evening commute.

Wet weather could be steady at times, but heavy rain is not expected.

Showers will show up first in Lawrence, Beaver and Butler counties-then spread into Pittsburgh through the evening.
