PITTSBURGH — Plan for hot, humid weather and the threat of storms as you head out this week.
Temperatures Tuesday through Thursday will climb near 90 or hotter, and the added humidity could make it feel closer to the mid- to upper 90s.
The hottest temperatures are expected Wednesday and could come close to the record high temperature of 94 set in 1953.
Daily storm chances will also be part of the weather story, with ingredients in place for strong to severe storms if they develop.
Damaging winds and downpours will be the primary threats.
The track and timing of storms will be difficult to pinpoint, so stay weather aware and have the Severe Weather Team 11 app with you for the latest updates, watches and warnings.
