Brookline man pleads guilty to stabbing neighbor to death in 2014

PITTSBURGH — A Brookline man pleaded guilty Wednesday to killing his neighbor in 2014 after the two had a dispute over money.

Christopher Richardson, 50, pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree murder in the death of 75-year-old Alan Krupitzer.

Krupitzer was found stabbed to death inside a home on Pioneer Avenue on July 5, 2014.

Police said an investigation found that Richardson stabbed Krupitzer after a dispute over money.

Richardson is scheduled to be sentenced on May 15.
