Closures planned on Grant Street in Pittsburgh Friday as crews remove Christmas tree

PITTSBURGH — Part of Grant Street will be closed on Friday as crews remove the City of Pittsburgh’s 110th Christmas tree.

The closures will be between Third Avenue and Fifth Avenue from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Department of Public Works Forestry Division will remove and transport the tree and wreaths from the Portico of the City-County Building.
