PITTSBURGH — It is much milder this morning, with temperatures in the 50s as you head out. Winds will be a little gusty out of the west today, with high temperatures still around five degrees above average.

We’ll enjoy plenty of sunshine and warmth again Friday before clouds increase on Saturday ahead of Isaias.

Isaias is now officially the first hurricane of the season for the Atlantic basin. It will continue strengthening and make landfall as a higher-end Category 2 hurricane sometime Friday night near Mobile, Alabama.

As it moves north, you’ll notice more clouds Saturday and a bit of a breeze. Rain will overspread the area by early Sunday morning with periods of steady rain throughout the day. Flooding is not expected, but outdoor plans will be impacted, with showers not ending until sometime early Monday.
