PITTSBURGH — The center of Isaias is now well inland and pushing through parts of Alabama. Clouds thicken throughout the day as rain gets closer, but we’ll stay dry through at least 10 p.m.
Steady rain takes over late tonight, with periods of moderate rain possible Sunday morning. Rain will taper to mainly just occasional showers for the afternoon, so there will be some drier breaks for the Steelers game.
A Wind Advisory is in effect for the higher elevations of Indiana, Westmoreland, and Fayette counties from tonight through early Sunday afternoon, where wind gusts may exceed 40 mph.
Another period of showers is possible Sunday evening as the center area of low pressure moves just south of our area, but the storm will quickly pull away Sunday night. Clouds will decrease Monday, with temperatures soaring well into the 70s on Tuesday ahead of some possible showers Tuesday night.
Cooler weather will return toward the end of next week.
