A man who pleaded guilty to shooting another man at a Pittsburgh club has received his sentence.
William Samuels, 57, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, terroristic threats and simple assault in April.
Police said he shot Tyler Neff five times at Club Pittsburgh on Penn Avenue in the Strip District on the morning of Nov. 22, 2024.

On Wednesday, Judge Jill Rangos sentenced Samuels to no fewer than two years and three months of confinement and no more than four years, 11 months and 29 days of confinement. He will then serve a period of 12 years of probation, court documents show.
A charge of attempted homicide was withdrawn in the plea deal.
Samuels is eligible for release in February.
Club Pittsburgh is a 24-hour gym and club that supports the city’s queer community.
Despite being shot, Neff told Channel 11 he held Samuels down for around 15 minutes, until police arrived.
Neff was shot three times in the torso and once in each arm. After he was released from the hospital, he began occupational therapy.
Channel 11 has reached out to the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office for comment and is waiting to hear back.
