A Peters Township High School student accused of running a sextortion scheme will remain in jail.
The State Superior Court rejected a petition that would have let Zachariah Meyers out on bail.

The court called Meyers a flight risk and said his release would cause “community safety concerns.”
Prosecutors say Meyers used social media platforms to force victims to send explicit pictures and videos.
He’s due to appear in court again at the end of the month.
