Some sunshine Thursday, but still cool with below-average temperatures

PITTSBURGH — It feels very much like fall, with temperatures this morning in the 40s and low 50s. Despite plenty of sunshine, it will still be cool today, with highs about 5 degrees below average and east winds that could reach 15 mph.

Tonight will be our coolest night since May, with widespread readings in the low 40s expected, and some neighborhoods likely dipping into the upper 30s! Highs will be more seasonable as we approach the weekend, with each day near 70 degrees.

Our stretch of dry weather will easily continue into early next week, with highs pushing closer to the mid-70s by Tuesday. Our next chance for rain won’t be until late Wednesday at the earliest!
