A line of gusty showers and possible storms will cross around midday, with the strongest winds expected to be from roughly Pittsburgh and points east. Widespread damaging winds are not expected, but isolated 40- 50 mph gusts are possible that could produce sporadic damage reports. The main timing of the front is between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Waves of showers will continue through this evening as temperatures quickly fall through the 50s and eventually into the low 40s by Saturday morning.

Winds will gradually back off Saturday, but it will allow for a very cold start Sunday, with widespread readings at or below freezing expected. The good news is we have a whole lot of dry and mild weather coming next week!
