PITTSBURGH — Today will be brighter and milder, with high temperatures pushing into the mid-50s. Winds will stay up, however, and could gust to about 30 mph this afternoon.
Winds will stay elevated tonight, dropping wind chills well into the 30s by Monday morning. We’ll see more clouds throughout the day, but most of the area will remain dry.
Skies open up Tuesday, allowing highs to climb back into the low 60s! A stronger area of low pressure moves in at the end of the week, bringing steadier rain sometime later Thursday into Friday.
We will tap into colder air on the back side of the system that may be just enough to provide some of us with a little wet snow by late Friday night. At this point, impacts look low given temperatures that will remain largely above freezing. But it’s a sign of the colder season to come!
