Sunny, seasonable weather settles in

PITTSBURGH — More comfortable weather is finally here! Temperatures are starting out in the 50s across much of the area with much lower humidity throughout the day. Highs will top out in the upper 70s, making for a very seasonable early September day.

With light winds and clear skies, we may end up a few degrees cooler Monday morning, with much of Allegheny County dropping closer to 56 or 57 degrees. However, we’ll end up a little warmer by the afternoon with highs around 80.

Sunshine and low humidity will continue into much of Tuesday before the muggies increase late Tuesday into Wednesday. The next front will drop south Wednesday night, bringing the next best chance for rain, which will last through at least the first half of Thursday.

Another shot of cooler and comfortable air is expected Friday and for the start of next weekend.
