LOWER BURRELL, Pa. — A large fire destroyed an apartment complex in Lower Burrell Thursday afternoon.
The fire began around 1 p.m. in the attic of an apartment at the Cedar Crest complex on Puckety Church Road.

Red Cross volunteers are on the scene helping people affected by the fire and officials on the scene say no one was injured.
There is a total of 24 units in the building, and according to the Lower Burrell fire chief all of them were impacted. The third floor residents were hit the hardest.
