A man was taken to the hospital after his pickup truck struck a bear then crashed into a concrete median early Sunday morning in Hempfield Township, police said.
The crash happened near the New Stanton Interchange on Interstate 70, according to police.
Police said the driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
