SLIPPERY ROCK TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man was killed Friday night in a crash in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, officials said.
The crash happened shortly before 8 p.m. on Frew Mill Road, near Lucas Lane.
A car driven by 50-year-old David Fritch went off the road and reportedly struck two trees. Fritch died at the scene, police said.

The crash remains under investigation, but police said speed is believed to have been a factor.
