Police charged two constables on Thursday in a summer incident that included gunfire and a chase through the streets of Pittsburgh.
Police say John Miller and Ronald Ciancione fired shots at Torrell Jones back in July in Homewood, then chased him for a mile and then opened fire again after their two cars crashed.
Jones was initially charged with aggravated assault and driving under the influence, but now the constables are accused of recklessly endangering Jones and official oppression.

Casey White is Miller's attorney.
"We are surprised that they charged Mr. Miller, because the individual who is the quote unquote victim in this case was a person that was highly intoxicated, caused an accident, and but for Constable Miller and his partner, this gentleman could have hurt a lot of people."
The next step for Jones is a preliminary hearing.
