McCANDLESS, Pa. — The FBI is asking for help catching an armed bank robber who struck in McCandless Thursday evening.
According to the FBI, the woman walked into the PNC Bank at 9805 McKnight Road around 5 p.m.
Carrying a bag, she approached the teller and demanded money while showing a gun. She was given an unknown amount of cash and left without anyone being injured.
The suspect is described as a white woman in her late 40s. She’s approximately 5 feet three inches tall and around 175 pounds.
At the time of the robbery, she was wearing a black wig, gray sweat pants, a black t-shirt and black suede slippers with fur.
The FBI tells Channel 11 there is a reward offered for information leading to her capture.
