BETHEL PARK, Pa. — Aaron Morris’ new security cameras captured a man in a ski mask trying to break into his car just hours after he put them up.

“I wonder how many times this has happened before we got the cameras,” Morris said. “At 3 a.m., the alarms were going off, saying someone was at the garage.”

Morris and his wife posted the video to a neighborhood Facebook page in Bethel Park. That’s when they learned the neighbors were also targeted. A doorbell camera video shows someone in a mask walking in front of Morris’ next-door neighbor’s home and trying the door handles.

Bethel Park police are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

“Then he went out to my other neighbor’s and was able to open their door. I believe he got a debit card,” Morris said. “Fortunately all it was was $1,400.”
