Ryan Houston anchors the weekend night newscast at 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. for Channel 11 News.
Before coming to Pittsburgh, Houston spent 10 years covering local and national news. He spent three years in Cincinnati as the noon and 4 p.m. anchor. Houston also was the main anchor in Jackson, MS for two years. He got his start in Georgia where he spent four years reporting and anchoring. Some of his political reporting in the Peach State actually had city laws changed.
Houston is an Arkansas native and a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas. He’s the oldest of four boys.
In his free time, he loves to lift weights, read, volunteer and binge watch reality TV.
