WASHINGTON — A Catholic church abuse settlement from 2005 is raising some eyebrows because it mentions Cardinal Donald Wuerl.
Wuerl has repeatedly said he didn't know about decades of sexual abuse in the Catholic church.

A spokesperson for Wuerl told the Washington Post that Wuerl was unaware of the legal agreement.
But according to the Washington Post, Wuerl was named in the settlement between a former priest and the cardinal of Washington D.C.
Wuerl was the bishop of the Diocese of Pittsburgh at that time.
