STOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Several firefighters are recovering after they were hurt in a fire in Stowe Township that may have been intentionally set.
A viewer sent us video from Thursday night’s house fire on Island Avenue.
Four firefighters were hurt when the porch collapsed.
“It was pretty nerve-wracking seeing your guys up there and that roof coming down It was pretty crazy,” Stowe Township Fire Chief Matt Chapman explained.
The chief’s son was one of the four who were hurt.
“He seems in good spirits. He’s got a petty good recovery and a long time to get back on his feet,” Chief Chapman said. “Seeing him up there trying to get up there trying to get one of his best friend’s out, it’s always one of any firefighters biggest fears.
