McKEESPORT, Pa. — A man died at a hospital after he was shot late Wednesday night in McKeesport.
Niko Dawson, 31, was shot on Soles Street just before 11:30 p.m., officials said. He suffered gunshot wounds to the torso and was taken to UPMC McKeesport Hospital, where he died just after 12 a.m. Thursday.
A 24-year-old woman was also hurt in the shooting. A bullet grazed her leg and she was treated at the scene, police said.
Police had crime scene tape up and evidence markers on the ground as they processed the scene.
