People we talked to are worried about traffic, congestion and the safety of their kids.

The proposal is to add onto an existing community, Amherst Village -- a community that only has one way in and one way out.

The township tells Channel 11 traffic studies have been done and starting this new phase will not adversely impact traffic at the intersections.
