Police asking for public's help in unsolved homicide

DUQUESNE, Pa. — Pittsburgh Crime Stoppers is looking to the public for leads in an unsolved homicide.

Police said Shavell Davidson, 24, was shot multiple times just after 7 p.m. on South 7th Street in Duquesne on Jan. 12.

When investigators got to the scene, several bullet casings covered the ground.  Davidson died at the scene.

The investigation revealed Davidson was in the J & S Food Mart in Duquesne prior to being shot.

A suspect hasn’t been identified.

Pittsburgh Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.  Anyone with information should call 412-255-TIPS.  Callers can remain anonymous.
