Police find Westmoreland Co. woman, 1-year-old son who disappeared a week ago

GREENSBURG, Pa. — UPDATE: Police said King and her son were found safe.

Greensburg police are searching for a woman and her 1-year-old son who haven’t been seen in more than a week.

Aziyza King, 37, and her 1-year-old son, Zayn, were last seen March 6 around 10 a.m. leaving their home on Grove Street.

According to a release, King told a neighbor that she was walking to the Dollar General on South Main Street, but store surveillance video showed that she never entered the store.

Police said King doesn’t have a vehicle, and no photo is available of her son.

King was wearing a black jacket and black pants when she was last seen, according to investigators. She has family in the Harrisburg area, but she has not had contact with them recently.
