The Golden Tree Spa is front and center on Murray Avenue in Squirrel Hill.
On Thursday, Pittsburgh police raided it after complaints of prostitution going on inside and possible victims of human trafficking.
Michael Ment works at a business across the street and noticed something wasn't right.
“They're just unusually open,” he said.
Two women from China were arrested – Shuzhen Ding and Chun Ju Zhang are now In jail.

Channel 11 did a search online and found advertising for sexy Asian women and pictures with some women in provocative poses at Golden Tree Spa.
According to the criminal complaint, a detective went in and was told to take off all his clothes.
He then told one employee he wanted to have sex with her. She said no but they agreed on another sexual act for $150.
The complaint said he then gave the signal and police moved in.
One of the suspects told police she would “not do intercourse for money."
Ment says he wouldn't expect something like this to be happening in Squirrel Hill.
“I was surprised to hear that somewhat,” he said. “It can happen anywhere.”
