NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. — A North Huntingdon neighborhood is frustrated with the lack of help they’re getting as flood problems worsen on their Park Hill Road properties.
“Every year now it’s gotten progressively worse,” said Paul Reynolds. “It goes from three or four storms that would flood us over, and this past year it’s been eight to nine times. We couldn’t get to the houses.”
It’s been so bad at times, Reynolds says, that he and his family have been physically trapped from getting to and from their home. Their kids have even had to miss school.
Neighbors here say they’ve turned to the township, PennDOT and DEP for help but no one steps in, and the flooding keeps getting worse.
