ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. — All Steel Valley schools on lockdown due to a "credible threat". Several police departments on scene.

ORIGINAL STORY: Steel Valley School District locked down all of its schools Friday afternoon after "a credible threat of violence in the community," the district announced.
4:49 P.M. UPDATE: Two Munhall police cruisers remain outside Steel Valley Middle and High School.
3:59 P.M. UPDATE: Aaron Martin just spoke to a woman who picked up her grandson and had to wait 45 minutes in line to sign him out.
Students will not be dismissed unless a guardian listed on their emergency card comes to get them, the district said.
It was not immediately clear who made the threat or how it was made.
Steel Valley has two elementary schools, a middle school and a high school in Homestead and Munhall.
