Charges are pending against the 21-year-old driver, who is from Florida, police said.

Video from a Channel 11 News viewer shows the car being put in reverse by the driver after the crash, dragging debris and car parts as it was backed out.

Damage to the restaurant is extensive. The car hit the front desk where a host would normally be. Glass was shattered and a wall was badly damaged.

The owner said there’s about $100,000 in damage.
