SWAT team called after man robbed at gunpoint at Pittsburgh home

PITTSBURGH — An armed robbery led to a SWAT team being called early Tuesday morning to Pittsburgh’s Lincoln-Lemington neighborhood.

Police said a man was robbed about 1 a.m. at a home near the intersection of Lincoln and Lemington avenues. He told officers multiple people, including at least one with a gun, robbed him at gunpoint.

SWAT officers detained one man, who was questioned and released, police said.

When officers went to the home, they tried to stop a man who ran into a nearby house, police said. The SWAT team was then called and searched that home.

No arrests have been made as police continue the investigation.
