BENTLEYVILLE, Pa. — A truck driver was arrested and charged after causing extensive damage at two Washington County businesses.
McDonald's customers in Bentleyville stopped to stare at a broken drive-thru that was allegedly smashed by a tractor-trailer much bigger than the clearance allows.
Next door to the McDonald's, crews had to fix a gas line, utility pole, install a new mailbox, deal with a broken down clearance bar and more at the PNC Bank.
State police arrested Roberts, from Texas, and charged him with driving under the influence.
Channel 11 looked up the truck's license plate in the criminal complaint, and then found Robert's tractor-trailer still running in a Pilot truck stop next door.
We contacted Prime Trucking, out of Missouri, to get a comment about the driver's arrest, but haven't heard back.
