Wear a cardigan Friday to celebrate world kindness

PITTSBURGH — Have a cardigan? Then wear it Friday to celebrate World Kindness day and WQED’s 3rd Annual Cardigan Day.

This year both days coincide with King Friday the XII from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood’s birthday. So, at 10 a.m. his famous castle will be rolled out on to Fifth Avenue to allow kids and motorist the chance to see it. You’ll even be able to take a picture from your car, weather permitting.

Kids will also get a kindness bag. while supplies last.

Also to celebrate, neighbors are asked to wear their cardigans and post them to social media using the hashtag #CardiganDay.
