ALLEGHENY CO., Pa. — Allegheny County is preparing for the delayed Pennsylvania primary election, which is two weeks from Tuesday.
Election officials spent a lot of time today talking about all the issues they’ve seen related to mail-in ballots – including multiple ballots sent to voters, or some not getting their ballot at all.

If you requested a mail-in or absentee ballot and got more than one, only return one ballot. Your vote will only be counted once.
On top of those issues, the polling locations for thousands of people in the county have been changed, which has caused confusion as well.
If you requested a ballot and it hasn't come in the mail, you can't vote in person. However, you will be given a provisional ballot – and that will be counted as your vote.
All poll workers will be given guidance on how to stop the spread of COVID-19. They'll be given masks, gloves and hand sanitizer.
Voters will also see blue tape markings on the ground marking the distance you need to keep away from people during the pandemic. Officials also talked about all the polling places that will be changed or closed.
Election officials are expecting a higher voter turnout this year, and they said they are prepared.
